Spring 2006 Sharkey Park Garden (2007 online soon.)
There is a (unfinished) rose garden in the new park we built two years ago on Main Street Plymouth. It across from City Hall -- where they have free music in the summer. I seeded the park in 2006 and again on January first (before a rain) and February 22 (in between the rains.) Sowed WF mix #2 1/3 bag, cornflower 1/6 bag, shasta daisy 1/8 bag, CG Poppies about a pound, RHPokers #2, MGE-M. Wherever they didn't spray, the flowers will live.
Also, Incahoots, Post Office, Beanie Coffee Shop, and Marlene and Glen were seeded - Incahoots took the best care of the flowers. Also, Veteran Park is being maintained nicely. Dick Cooper and his crew helped do a lot of initial work there. Betty Carrier is planting many many iris and poppies and crape myrtles there. Keep up the nice work! She got CGP seeds from the Native Daughters of the Golden West and I helped fill out the area, too. |

See Cacti in Snow pictures.
The snow happened in March 2006. I have to scan in some older photos of these same cacti with fruit -- just after the faces were carved a few years ago. Land in Snow in progress. |

| Rocks Gallery Not Online Yet
Most of my paintings have spraypaint in them -- see the "offsite gallery" link to the wildlife gallery to see many more. Spraypaint works well for all acrylic paintings. Patriotic boulders at Kirkland Ranch on Bell Road (go to the Truck show there each year on the last weekend of April!) Three or four massive boulders and the smaller ones arranged in the ditch - all of the states - painted back in late Sept 2001 - spring 2002. Boulder on Fiddletown Road "Slow" with big orange hand spraypainted in 1996-98.

California Poppies pictures. Planting Season in Winter - Consider it!
Eventually, I'd like them all through the western side of Amador County. On Old Sacto Road, Highway 49, Shenandoah Road through Plymouth and its neighboring valleys and cities and highways. In 2006, sowed at the Pine Lodge Fire Station in River Pines (also planted buddleja there as part of a Rotary Club project), a Church there, a coffee shop, and people homes. Threw more out at Steiner Road entries, too.
Both entrances to Amador County Fairgrounds are done. Rotary booth, animal shower area, ticket booths, all along grandstands and under the stands as you walk into it. Entire back fence of stands to exit, pool, rescue station, All along the freshly tilled, already had hay on Lodge Hill across from pool and entry to school. All around parking lot at entry of fair. Wherever people don't spray, they'll live... |

Two Pictures of Ashram Project:
1. Without Stones; 2. With Stones
Ashram in Nevada County. At the time we visited in June 2006, they were planning a garden based on a Native American 4 Seasons Circle garden. I was handed a protractor (after being handed a shovel) and drew a sketch that will be online soon. I was hoping they'd make a large sundial out of it, but maybe later. |
